Saudi Arabia’s trade balance hits $10bn surplus in June

RIYADH, August 25, 2023

Saudi Arabia’s trade balance achieved a surplus of about SR38 billion (about $10 billion) during June last year, according to a report by the Saudi Statistics Authority (GASTAT).

The kingdom’s merchandise exports fell by 39.7% on an annual basis in June compared to the last year hitting SR89 billion.

Merchandise imports decreased by 17.1% to SR10.6 billion in June, while the value of imports hit SR51.4 billion in June compared to SR62.1 billion last year.-TradeArabia News Service
