Qatar Holding steps down from Vinci's board

PARIS, June 11, 2024

Vinci, a global player in concessions, energy and construction sectors, has announced that Qatar Holding, the investment arm of the country's sovereign wealth fund QIA (Qatar Investment Authority), has relinquished its directorship from the French company's board.
 
The Qatari group became a director of the Vinci Group following the transfer of share capital of Cegelec, a French engineering company specialising in electrical infrastructure, HVAC and nuclear energy development, to Vinci.
 
The announcement came from Qatar Holding at the recent shareholders’ general meeting following the voting. 
 
A global construction expert with presence in more than 120 countries, Vinci designs, funds, builds and operates infrastructure and facilities that help improve daily life and mobility for all through its 280,000-strong workforce.
