Oman Drydock wins $10m steel structure contract

MUSCAT, August 11, 2015

Oman Drydock Company (ODC) has won a contract worth $10 million to provide the Rabab Harweel project being carried out by Consolidated Contractors Company with super steel structures, a report said.

The project will begin next October with more than 200 workers and the use of more than 12,000 tonnes of steel manufactured at the company, Dr Ahmed al Abri, deputy CEO for Operations at Oman Drydock was quoted as saying in the Oman Observer report.

Rabab Harweel is an oilfield of Petroleum Development Oman (PDO) near the Wilayat of Duqm, the report said.
