DUBAI, May 6, 2018

International law firm Pinsent Masons has appointed leading infrastructure and energy specialists, Tim Armsby and Gurmeet Kaur, to its finance and projects practice in the Middle East region.

Both come from Eversheds Sutherland, one of the world's largest corporate law firms headquartered in London. Armsby was a partner in Abu Dhabi and head of energy and infrastructure for the company in the Middle East, while Kaur was a partner in its Dubai office, having been based in the Middle East for 10 years. In their new role, the duo will be based in Dubai.

Armsby has been working in the region for nearly 20 years and his experience includes oil and gas, utilities (including both conventional power and renewables) and wider infrastructure projects (including PPP (public private partnership) and front-end construction) in a variety of sectors including transport, waste, health and education.

Armsby, who has significant corporate/M&A transactional experience, will lead the finance and project practice for the region.

Kaur was a partner in the Dubai office of Eversheds Sutherland, having been based in the Middle East for 10 years. She has extensive experience advising public and private clients on infrastructure, energy and construction projects, particularly in renewable power, water and transportation sectors.
