HMH breaks ground on its first Dubai lifestyle brand property
DUBAI, April 29, 2019
Hospitality Management Holding (HMH), one of the region’s largest hotel management companies specialised in the dry sector and with an expanding portfolio across the Middle East and North Africa (Mena) region, has broken ground on its new 321-room property being set up near the Dubai Expo 2020 site under its lifestyle brand Ecos Hotel.
The Ecos Dubai Al Furjan Hotel is a lifestyle property being planned to accommodate both the leisure, family, and business traveller. The hotel’s smart and innovative design is coupled with state-of-the art infrastructure and offers a unique and memorable experience, enriched with an element of surprise for all its guests.
The first Ecos hotel is strategically located in the Al Furjan community, approximately 5 km away from the Expo 2020 site, 24 km away from Dubai International Airport, and 16 km from Downtown Dubai, said the statement from HMH.
The ground-breaking ceremony was held in the presence of Sheikh Mohammed bin Faisal bin Sultan Al Qassimi, chairman of Manafa and managing director of Faisal Holding (which owns HMH alongw ith Manafa) and other senior officials including Faisal Holding CEO Brett Schafer and HMH chief executive Aboudi Asali.
The Ecos Dubai Al Furjan Hotel is expected to open its doors to guests in the third quarter of 2020.
