Azizi offers $2.7m bonus for 'performing' contractors
DUBAI, May 27, 2019
Azizi Developments, one of the leading private developers in the UAE, has announced that it will incentivise its contracts with a bonus of up to Dh10 million ($2.72 million) to encourage the timely completion of its Dubai-based projects to the highest standards of quality.
The announcement coincides with Azizi Developments marking 2019 as its ‘Year of Construction’, which denotes its commitment to accelerated project completion, said a statement from the developer.
Nine of its projects are scheduled for handover this year, it added.
CEO Farhad Azizi said: "This new incentive is a token of gratitude and an encouragement to our contractors and partners for their commitment to ensure the timely delivery of our projects. At Azizi Developments, we assign the highest priority to five core segments – our customers, staff, contractors, the government and brokerage firms."
"Every strategic initiative of ours is directed at offering added value for them," he stated.
"Announcing this bonus is a bold move that we have been considering for a while, and we believe that it is a tremendously beneficial one as it will contribute to customer happiness, which is the true benchmark of our success," he added.
According to him, over the years, Azizi Developments has been working exclusively with well-established contractors with proven credentials of project delivery and quality implementation.
The company has specified clear protocols for its contractors to abide by, covering quality control, detailed timelines, construction site security, as well as health, safety and environment best practices.
Azizi Developments carefully selects its contractors and works closely with them to ensure that all work is completed as per the initial schedule and foresees and announces completion dates as realistically as possible.
Its new initiative will also help the company achieve cost optimisation, which in turn, will benefit customers, who can own homes in Dubai at competitive rates, said the Emirati developer.
With on-time delivery, costs involved in snagging and hiring new contractors, if a project is delayed, as well as other expenses, can be curtailed, it added.
Azizi said contractors are also urged to deploy the latest technology in engineering and construction.
With dedicated teams of professionals and skilled workers on ground, every project is closely monitored, and the construction progress evaluated by Azizi’s in-house team, including its CEO, who undertakes personal site tours every Tuesday, it added.-TradeArabia News Service
