Designed by Lőrinc Csernyus, a student of the legendary Imre Makovecz, the timber-framed circular pavilion pays tribute to the country's thermal waters on a 1,828-sq-m plot in the Mobility District.

With its participation, Hungary aims to boost its Arab diplomatic and cultural relations besides promoting economic cooperation schemes, to boost trade relations, to enhance the country’s image, and introduce Hungarian tourism and gastronomy to the Arab region.
The participation agreement was signed in April by Hungarian Minister of State for the development and coordination of EU policies Szabolcs Takacs, who is also ministerial commissioner for Expo 2020 Dubai, and Najeeb Mohammed Al Ali, the executive director of Dubai Expo 2020 in Dubai.
Péter Szijjártó, Hungary's Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade, revealed that the government has earmarked 21 billion forints ($75.4 million) for the country's participation in the Expo.
