New advisory board set up for The Big 5 Egypt expo

The Big 5 Construct Egypt, the Cairo-based edition of The Big 5, the largest portfolio of construction events in the Middle East region, has announced the formation of its new advisory board as it prepares to return for the third edition this September.
The announcement comes on the back of the first advisory board meeting which took place last month in Cairo.
The Big 5 Construct Egypt will run from September 22 to 24 at Egypt International Exhibition Centre in Cairo, giving a 360-degree view of the country's building industry, product and service sectors.
The expo will cover the mechanical, electrical and plumbing (MEP), plant machinery vehicles (PMV), building envelope and special construction, building interiors and finishes, as well as construction technology, tools and building materials sectors, said the organiser, dmg events.
The 2020 advisory board includes members such as Engineer Khaled Abbas, Deputy Minister from the Ministry of Housing, Utilities and Urban Communities; Dr Ahmed Azim Youssef, Managing Director, Dar Al Handasah; Feras AlHumidi, Director General, Saudi Export Development Authority; Dr Mohamed Youssef, Executive Board Member, Arab Contractors; Mohamed Badr, Founder & Chief Designer, MB Designs; Mohamed Khodeir, Founder & Managing Partner, Khodeir & Partners and other senior stakeholders and leading experts from the construction industry.
Commenting on the move, Dr Youssef said: "The Big 5 Construct Egypt advisory board meeting was a golden opportunity to meet with stakeholders and key personnel of the construction industry and, we at Dar Al Handasah are more than happy to support the event and send our engineers to be acquainted with the most up to date materials and technologies in the construction industry.”
