Eagle Hills Diyar in deal for Carrefour at Marassi Galleria

Leading Bahraini developer Eagle Hills Diyar has signed an agreement with Majid Al Futtaim, a leading shopping mall, communities, retail and leisure pioneer in the region, to open a Carrefour hypermarket at its upcoming beachfront world-class mall, Marassi Galleria.
A pioneer behind the iconic Marassi Al Bahrain development, Eagle Hills Diyar said Carrefour’s newest store in Bahrain will be a 3,000-sq-m hypermarket designed to provide an exceptional customer experience and journey to those visiting it at Marassi Galleria Mall.
Set to open next year, the hypermarket will be a first-of-its-kind concept for Bahrain, it added.
The agreement was signed by Dr Maher Al Shaer, the Managing Director of Eagle Hills Diyar, and Jerome Akel, Country Manager of Carrefour Bahrain in Majid Al Futtaim Retail, at a recent ceremony.
The highly anticipated Marassi Galleria, expected to be complete by 2021, is set to provide a new
benchmark for retail experiences in Bahrain. The mall will offer unparalleled shopping, dining and entertainment experiences and will house many first-time retailers in the kingdom.
Marassi Galleria will be hosting an array of entertainment and leisure attractions, such as a 2,400-sq-m aquarium and underwater zoo, a trampoline park, themed rides and games, family entertainment centers, a waterfront dining promenade, a scenic rooftop featuring outdoor activities with panoramic views of the beach, in addition to a multi-screen cinema by Cineco, making the mall a prime destination for families and visitors of all ages to enjoy and embrace the experience.
