Al Baraka Islamic Bank (AIB), a leading Bahraini financial institution, has announced the opening of the Danat Al Baraka project in the kingdom's Janusan region.
One of the most prominent housing and real estate projects under the umbrella of the Ministry of Housing and Eskan Bank, Danat Al Baraka was officially inaugurated by Minister of Housing Engineer Basim Bin Yacob Al Hamer yesterday (April 4).
It boasts 211 modern villas with four different contemporary designs, each consisting of two floors with 4 rooms, a spacious hall, a kitchen and annex for a domestic worker, and a garage consisting of two parking spaces.
The project, which is built on a 73,514-sq-m area, is considered to be the fifth in a series of Danat projects; the others being Danat Al Madina, Danat Al Riffa, Danat Al Seef and Danat Al Lawzi.
Al Baraka Islamic Bank said the residential units of Danat Al Baraka are available for immediate purchase within the Mazaya programme for social housing.
Eskan Bank is managing investments in the project, whereas its wholly-owned subsidiary Eskan Properties will the manager and supervisor for the project development.
Speaking at the launch, Tariq Kazim, General Manager (Business Group) at Al Baraka Islamic Bank and Chairman of Danat Al Baraka Board commended the main contractor Ahmed Omer Trading and Contracting Establishment for their relentless efforts to ensure the timely completion of the project.
Work on the project began in 2016 and despite the circumstances and Covid-19 challenges it was completed as per the set timeframe," stated Kazim.
"We are pleased to be at the forefront of financial institutions in Bahrain who will be providing exclusive financing offers for this project and are proud of the attention it has received from the concerned authorities, following the directions of the late HRH Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa," he noted.
"We also extend our thanks and appreciation to the Ministry of Housing, the Ministry of Finance, the Central Bank of Bahrain and Eskan Bank for providing all means of support and facilities that have secured the success of the project,” he added.-TradeArabia News Service
