Top firms vying for Bahrain housing project consultancy work

Eight leading consultants have been shortlisted by Bahrain's Eskan Bank for a key plot within the
Al Ramli Development, a social housing project located in the central part of Bahrain, close to Salmabad and A’ali village.
It will be a unique Bahraini community covering 1 million sq m area featuring a total of 4,501 apartments along with all key amenities including schools, shopping malls, commercial plazas, traditional souq, gardens, mosques and walkable neighbourhoods.
Those in the race for the supervision consultancy services contract for Plot 4 of Al Ramli Housing Project are: Urban Vision; Tebodin Middle East; Ansari Engineering Services; CEC Khatib & Alami; Alteraz Architectural Design; Tashreeq Engineers Company; The Arab Architects and Pan Arab Consulting Engineers.
This key plot will boast a total of 400 apartments (all three-bedroom units) and a retail area of 1,152 sq m in addition to car parking (with 2 lots per apartment), according to the Bahrain Tender Board website.
Ansari Engineering Services and CEC Khatib & Alami provided bids based on two options, it added.-TradeArabia News Service
