Netix brings innovative ‘Android Building’ approach to Mideast market
DUBAI, September 2, 2021
Netherlands-based Netix Global BV, one of the region’s leading smart building solutions providers, yesterday (September 1) officially launched its Novus Partner Programme, which brings the innovative ‘Android Building’ approach to Middle East real estate industry, at a virtual and physical hybrid event.
The launch event was attended by the top industry leaders, noted experts, opinion-makers, and thought leaders from the building automation industry; who gathered at the Burj Khalifa, along with the delegates from more than 20 countries joining the proceedings online.
It marked the beginning of a concerted effort to empower Netix certified partners, with a programme designed to create a dynamic ecosystem of service providers, and drive the Brownfield Revolution in open protocol building automation solutions.
In a first for the region, top industry leaders have come together as Platinum Partners, as part of the newly launched Netix Novus program, to lead the Brownfield Revolution that aims to power an android approach to building management.
These include Sanjeevv Bhatia, Chairman of SB Group International and CEO of Netix Global BV; Priyesh Bhatia, General Manager of ODS Global; Ganesh Khanolkar, Managing Director of Exenture India & ODS India, DOS of Teknoware and Netix; Jehad Abu Shamiyeh, CEO of Electro Power Systems, Saudi Arabia; Vivek Wagh, Business Development Director, SB Group International, Oman, Africa & South East Asia; and Jagdish Rajan, CEO, Garnet Technologies, part of JBK Qatar.
"We are very excited to join forces and accelerate the revolution of the industry. Netix Global’s open protocol, plug and play approach offers the perfect solution to the inflexible systems the building automation industry is struggling with currently," remarked Abu Shamiyeh.
"Netix’s ‘Android Building’ approach will empower continuous innovation and improvement, and transform the real estate landscape in the kingdom," stated the top Saudi official.
Sanjeevv pointed out that the Netix Novus Partner Program had been met with a lot of excitement, within its partner network, and the larger building management ecosystem.
"The launch has become an even bigger event than we had originally anticipated, and has generated a lot of interest within the industry, across the region and beyond," he added.
According to Sanjeevv, the Novus Partner Program was inspired by the successful implementation of Netix's solutions in projects handled by ODS Global, a Dubai-based company with a strong connected buildings, smart cities, sustainability, and energy efficiency focus - and now the program’s first Platinum Partner.
A company with stellar credentials, ODS has won the maintenance of the Building Management System (BMS) 18 properties and 5 vertical communities by Emaar, across Downtown Dubai and Dubai Creek Harbour. Netix’s retrofit solutions enabled ODS Global to avoid replacing the entire system and help Mazaya save 75% of costs.
According to him, Netix’s IoT and AI-based open protocol solutions also played a crucial role in ODS Global being awarded a three year maintenance contract for the building automation systems of 24 Damac Properties towers; the upgrade and maintenance of 3 Mazaya Towers’ buildings; and system integration projects at the Jafza Convention Centre, the BVLGARI Resort in Jumeirah Bay, the Pullman Hotel, and the Emirates Airlines Staff Accommodation in Dubai.
Sanjeevv pointed out that Netix Novus Partner Program would be playing a crucial role in leading the Brownfield Revolution in Middle East real estate
"And we are certain that the transformation we empower, in such a dynamic and competitive market, will translate into even more opportunities with global impact," he noted.
"Even before the official launch of the Novus program, Netix has already shaken hands with Garnet, part of JBK - a market leader in Qatar with 27+ years of experience in ELV, BMS and Security Services; as well as Electropower, a market leader in Saudi Arabia, with a strong presence of 20 years in the Gulf region, across Yemen, Qatar, Jordan, Dubai, and Bahrain, as well," he added.-TradeArabia News Service
