AirZones installs air quality monitoring system at Dubai brokerage
DUBAI, November 18, 2021
AirZones, the independent star rating standard for indoor air quality, is working with leading local real estate agent, ph Real Estate, to assess its office air quality.
In this regard, it has already installed air quality monitoring technology across the realtor’s 5,000-sq-ft head office at the Marina Plaza in Dubai Marina.
After analysing the data gathered, the company can then deliver independent advice on any improvements required.
With this, ph Real Estate is the first regional brokerage to undergo an indoor air assessment, said its top official.
"As one of the first corporate venues to work with start-up AirZones, we are keeping ahead of the curve," remarked Nick Grassick, ph Real Estate Managing Director.
"We always say the key to our success is the quality of our people. We want to ensure the best possible working conditions for our stellar team, and that means providing the cleanest air. Purer air is proven to improve concentration, mood and productivity - and also leads to less time off due to ill health."
"Checking our air quality is a win-win. It will ensure our team is given further support to work successfully, and clients visiting our office can rest assured they are enjoying the best air quality possible," he added.
Since its establishment in 2008, Grassick said ph Real Estate has been the name behind many milestones - such as Dubai’s most expensive villa sale in 2017 and land sale the very next year and the most expensive rental property in 2019.
"And now, the renowned brokerage is setting another new industry benchmark – by assessing its air quality," he added.
After employing high-tech air quality sensors and monitors to analyse indoor air quality at the Marina Plaza office, AirZones then suggests simple improvements, such as changing products used in the space, to improve indoor air quality and the health of the building – if any are needed.
AirZones Co-founder Chris Leighton said: "Air quality is the elephant in the room. Both the United Nations and the World Health Authority now recognise air pollution as a major killer – and we are helping UAE companies to address poor quality air quickly."
AirZones, he stated, was working with a diverse range of venues across the UAE, from hospitals to homes, schools to spas.
Founded in Dubai in 2021, AirZones delivers the world’s first Indoor Air Quality Star Rating Standard, making it simple for everyone to understand the difference in air quality across different venues.
"The monitoring equipment is available to both commercial and residential parties," he added.
