Mefma to launch inaugural excellence awards next year

After a decade of connecting the region's top industry players, the Middle East Facility Management Association is set to launch its inaugural 'Excellence Awards' at the Mefma Confex 2022 event in Dubai next year.
To be held from March 14 to 16, the inaugural edition of 'Mefma Awards of Excellence in FM 2022' will be the region’s inspiring FM awards featuring the outstanding success stories in the Middle East.
Winners will be announced during a gala dinner alongside Mefma Confex 2022, which will be heldunder the theme, “Technology and Data Driven Facility Management – The core of Business Excellence and Sustainability”.
These awards recognise the significant efforts in developing and implementing the practices and trends within the FM industry and celebrate the member’s contribution to building a well-developed FM community.
In this regard, Mefma President Jamal Lootah said: "For the past decade, Mefma has been continuously spreading awareness on the best FM practices to develop the region’s industry, consequently it has now introduced the Mefma Awards of Excellence in FM 2022 to showcase the Middle East’s success stories and achievements in FM.
"Today, we are proud of the milestone achieved by the MEFMA members in developing the Middle East’s FM industry," he noted.
Mefma Awards of Excellence 2022 is further validation of Mefma’s leading position in the Middle East FM industry and a positive representation through its members who are leading by example and making real progress in improving the quality of the daily lives of many.
Mefma Vice President and Vice Chair of Global FM Ali AlSuwaidi said: "Since its establishment, MEFMA has expanded its geographical presence in the Middle East in an aim to raise awareness on the use of the best practices within the industry."
"These inaugural excellence awards in FM 2022, was introduced to showcase and acknowledge the dedication, expertise, and sheer hard work of the region’s FM industry," he added.
