Red Sea International Company (RSI) has signed a seven-year extension contract from top oilfield services company Schlumberger to provide facility management services for its remote mobile camps set up to support its oil drilling operations in the kingdom's Eastern region.

 

The camp consists of various fully furnished modular units that are used as admin offices and accommodations. They are built of high-quality components to sustain the harsh weather conditions and continuous mobilizations to the different drilling locations.

 

Under the renewed contract worth SR73.09 million ($19.4 million), RSI will provide key facility management services including catering, laundry and power generation, said the company in its filing to the Saudi bourse.

 

Revenues and profits will be realised starting from Q1 2022, it added.

 

RSI is a leading Saudi company in the field of providing modular solutions and construction of high quality administrative and residential complexes and field hospitals in very short periods and readying the necessary infrastructure for various sectors.

 

In addition to this, they are experts in operating these complexes and providing all living requirements for guests during occupancy including electric energy, pure water, food supply and wastewater treatment.
