East Pipes Company lands $130m Saudi supply contract

Saudi-based East Pipes Integrated Company for Industry said it has been awarded a SR490 million ($130.4 million) contract by Saline Water Conversion Corporation (SWCC) to supply steel pipes for one of its key water transmission projects.
Founded in 2010 at Dammam in the kingdom's Eastern Province, East Pipes Integrated Company is a leading manufacturer of helical submerged arc welded (HSAW) pipes.
The contract win comes close on the heels of a similar order from SWCC worth SR497 million ($132 million) for supply of its spiral steel pipes for a key project in the kingdom, said East Pipes Integrated Company in its filing to Saudi bourse Tadawul.
The financial impact of this contract is expected to be materialised in the fiscal year 2022 - 2023, it stated.
The contract term is 365 days, and it includes the manufacture and supply of steel pipes for water uses, it added.-TradeArabia News Service
