Façade specialist Tonality will not make any price adjustments for its ceramic elements before the end of 2022 and can supply the building material reliably. 

 

The Westerwald-based German company thus provides architects, planners and general contractors with a high degree of planning certainty. The robust, design-oriented high-end ceramic is used both for façade design as well as for floor construction.

 

Material shortages, high demand, and stagnating supply chains are currently causing prices for many building materials to continue to rise, making reliable project costing increasingly difficult. 

 

Stable prices

Tonality GmbH has been able to counter this development and is keeping prices for its high-quality ceramic elements stable for the remainder of 2022. 

 

There are essentially two factors behind this: First, the company has long maintained reliable and consistent partnerships. As part of this, those in charge acted early on to negotiate long-term energy supply prices that mean no price adjustments will be necessary through to the end of the year – provided there is no gas embargo. 

 

Second, the ceramic elements are made of high-quality regional clays. These are extracted in the Westerwald region and are also available there in large quantities on an ad-hoc basis. This means Tonality remains largely independent of the kind of factors that are driving prices globally, such as a lack of raw materials and faltering supply chains.

Standard product solutions, like the design screed tile or the ceramic floor slab, are in stock in Weroth and can be delivered immediately. Generally, however, the elements are produced individually, taking account of size, surface and color among other things. “Orders coming in to us now are calculated directly and dealt with immediately.
