Diyar Al Muharraq announces key mosque completion

Diyar Al Muharraq, the leading real estate development company in the Kingdom, announced the completion of works on the Mohammed bin Saif bin Ebrahim Al Mannai Mosque located within its key residential community, Deerat Al Oyoun.
The first mosque in the residential community boasts a unique design concept inspired by Arab-Islamic architecture which has been applied throughout the mosque, minaret and dome.
With a total plot area of more than 2450 sq m, it can accommodate more than 600 worshippers, said the Bahraini developer.
It was inaugurated by Shaikh Dr Rashid bin Mohammed bin Futtais Al Hajeri in the presence of senior officials including Saleh bin Isa bin Hindi Al Mannai, advisor to His Majesty the King for Youths and Sports Affairs, Salman bin Isa bin Hindi Al Mannai, Governor of Muharraq as well as Diyar Al Muharraq officials Chairman Abdulhakeem Yaqoob Alkhayatt and CEO Engineer Ahmed Alammadi.
Several representatives from the Sunni Endowments Council were also in attendance alongside the main contractor European Construction and Maintenance Company, consultant Arab Architects and interior designers Horizon Interiors.
Lauding the project, Al Hajeri said: "Today we gather to witness the inauguration of a blessed edifice that fills us with pride in light of its incredible design and immense capacity. As such, we extend our gratitude and appreciation to everyone who made this project a reality and wish everyone continued success."
Alkhayatt said: "This mosque aims to serve worshippers from Deerat Al Oyoun as well as nearby neighbourhoods. Diyar Al Muharraq thanks everyone who worked on the project and extended their efforts over the past two years."
