Saudi Arabia's Water Regulator has released an updated version of its water and wastewater services guide that includes rules, rights and duties that define the relationship between service providers and consumers.

 

It plays an important role as the official governmental body tasked to regulate services providers of the water sector, based on the provisions of the water law, except for cogeneration services.

 

The new guide will act as a reference for service providers, stakeholders and beneficiaries. It will also explain the principles that regulate the relationship between them for all consumers.

 

The Saudi water regulator has also launched an awareness campaign "Your Guide" to educate beneficiaries and service providers about the updated version of the Water and Wastewater Services Guide.-TradeArabia News Service
