Carrier unveils latest HVAC solutions at key Saudi event
RIYADH, January 5, 2023
Carrier, a global leader in high technology heating, ventilation, air-conditioning and refrigeration (HVACR) solutions, said its regional unit unveiled its latest solutions at the second annual Technology for Future roadshow held recently in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
During the event, Carrier discussed its variable refrigerant flow (VRF) technology for residential and small commercial buildings designed for reliable performance in the Middle East’s harsh climatic conditions.
As a key provider of healthy, safe, sustainable and intelligent building and cold chain solutions, Carrier Middle East has inspired confidence in more than 300 leading heating and air conditioning consultants and engineers at the forum, said the company in a statement.
The event saw the company outlining its latest HVAC solutions backed by digital controls and servicing.
At a time where data centers are in great demand, the consultants learned about lifecycle solutions to optimize sustainability, while ensuring increased uptime and operation for critical technology, said the company in its statement.
Highlighting its steady growth in the region, Carrier said this was mainly due to its innovative solutions such as the BluEdge service platform, that provide customers real-time monitoring, diagnostic alerts and data analysis to help minimise losses from downtime caused by unknown failures.
During the roadshow, Carrier provided information on controls and building automation systems demonstrating ways to visualise, analyse and display building parameters.
Using a QR code on their own mobile phones, attendees viewed live data from the sustainability dashboard at Carrier’s Center for Intelligent Buildings located in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida, which displays indoor air quality and energy status on i-Vu building automation system with EcoReports platform.
“Carrier's customer-centric innovation was reflected in the second annual road show for consulting engineers,” remarked Sathya Moorthi, the Managing Director of Carrier Middle East.
At the event, the consulting engineers were trained on the latest version of Carrier’s Hourly Analysis Program (HAP v6), its peak load and energy modeling software.
HAP v6 integrates a streamlined workflow with a wide range of advanced 3D building modeling features, all woven into a core design that is still simple to understand and use, to reduce the time and effort needed to produce high-quality building models, stated Moorthi.
“Carrier’s digitally enabled products, systems and solutions align with our customer’s sustainability goals, energy needs, operating specifications, changing business requirements, comfort needs and health concerns,” he added.-TradeArabia News Service
