Diyar Al Muharraq wins three major ISO certifications

MANAMA, March 1, 2023

Diyar Al Muharraq, a leading real estate development company in Bahrain, said it has successfully achieved  three ISO certifications from Bureau Veritas, a global market leader in testing, inspection, and certification (TIC) services.

The key certifications are ISO 27001:2013 Information Security Management Systems (ISMS); ISO 22301:2019 Business Continuity Management System (BCMS) and the ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management Systems (QMS).

ISMS is an international standard that helps companies protect their financial data, intellectual property and sensitive customer information, in addition to identifying risks and managing confidential information.

It is also a globally recognised system that ensures organizations’ information security levels comply with best industry practices.

Diyar Al Muharraq said it had met the ISO 27001:2013 standards as part of its ongoing efforts to secure the company’s information assets.

On the BCMS certification, the Bahraini developer said the ISO 22301:2019 is an approved standard for companies to assess their level of efficiency and continuity while constantly operating at a rate that meets organisational directives and commitments to business sustainability in spite of any circumstances and potential crisis.

Additionally, the certification specifies requirements to implement, maintain, and operate a BCMS to protect and prepare against disruptions and reduce the likelihood of any occurrences, it stated.

Diyar Al Muharraq remains committed to applying the system’s standards across all organizational practices and its various departments.

On the QMS certification, the Bahraini developer said it addresses an organization’s ability to consistently provide products and services that meet customers’ needs and applicable statutory and regulatory requirements.

The accreditation also aims to enhance customer satisfaction through the effective application of the system, including improving the system and organizational performance, it added.

On the key certifications, CEO Engineer Ahmed Ali Alammadi said: "These achievements are a testament to our diligent efforts to meet global quality standards and our ongoing commitment to international best practices, as we aim to achieve excellence across multiple levels."

"We are confident that the accreditations will drive further improvement of the quality of our operations and elevate the efficiency of our products and services, in line with Diyar Al Muharraq’s integrated vision to develop a model, modern and sustainable city," he stated.

Diyar Al Muharraq said the global recognition reflects its commitment to implementing internationally recognized standards of internal management practices and increasing efficiency and productivity in its various operations, as well as the preparation of reports, internal communications, and all regulatory aspects.

"These certifications also reflect our dedicated teams’ tireless efforts to strengthen our position in the real estate industry. As such, we extend our gratitude to them and believe that their continuous efforts are the key to our leadership and success," stated Alammadi.

Diyar Al Muharraq is the largest integrated residential city in the kingdom, a modern-day urban city characterized by its luxurious lifestyle and its preservation of the traditional family values of the Bahraini community, in addition to its balanced mix of residential and commercial facilities.-TradeArabia News Service
