Dubai South Properties has awarded a major contract worth AED1 billion ($272.2 million) to Ginco General Contracting for the development of the initial phases of South Bay, the master development located in the heart of The Residential District within Dubai South alongside the Expo Road. 

 

On completion, the project will boast over 800 spacious villas and townhouses as well as more than 200 luxurious waterfront mansions, a 1-km-long crystal lagoon and more than 3 km of a waterfront promenade in addition to multiple beaches, clubhouse, fitness centres and lush parks.

 

South Bay offers a wonderful range of spacious townhouses, villas, and waterfront mansions in a picturesque waterfront location. 

 

The townhouses and semi-detached villas span a built-up area ranging from 2,900 to 5,500 sq ft, in a mix of three, four, and five en-suite bedrooms, stated the developer. 

 

On the other hand, the luxurious waterfront mansions will feature standalone villas with five- six- and seven- bedroom units with a built-up area ranging from approximately 9,000 to 14,000 sq ft. 

 

Dubai South Properties said the project is scheduled for completion by Q1 2026.

 

Strategically located at The Residential District, the South Bay provides residents access to top-class amenities including shopping mall, fitness centres, spas, kids’ clubs and waterparks as well as waterfront cafés, a lake park and private beaches.
