Kuwait's Directorate General of Civil Aviation has invited the six prequalified firms to submit bids for the operation, maintenance and development of the country's international airport including the new passenger terminal (T2), which is under construction, and its affiliated aircraft aprons.

 

The list of prequalified firms includes GMR Airports (India), Fraport AG Frankfurt Airport Services Worldwide and Munich Airport International (Germany), Incheon International Airport Corporation (South Korea), TAV Havalimanlari Holding Anonim Sirketi (Turkiye) and Daa International (Ireland), according to a tender notification from Kuwait's Directorate General of Civil Aviation.

 

The successful bidder will be responsible for the management of the central operation and maintenance model of Kuwait International Airport as well as all passenger terminals in addition to enhancement of training services and the institutional management.
