MANAMA, November 18, 2023

Naseej has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Bin Hindi Motors - the sole distributors of Kia in Bahrain - to support the electric vehicle charging stations at Nasayim Arad, Naseej’s latest residential project located in Arad.

The new project features the delivery of ‘smart-enabled’ homes to the affordable housing market, said a statement from Naseej.

The MoU was signed by Naseej CEO Amin Al Arrayed and AA Bin Hindi Vice Chairman and CEO  Ahmed Bin Hindi at Naseej’s stand in the Cityscape Exhibition in the presence of representatives from both companies, as well as offcials from Smart Way Consulting, Naseej’s adviser for the development of smart cities and communities.

This partnership is considered the first of its kind between a real estate developer and an automobile provider to support the new homes with EV charging stations within the garage spaces.

The new Nasayim Villa project is set to equip these units with electric charging technology for electric vehicles, thus blending affordable modern housing with the latest advanced technology in the field of low-cost electric vehicles.

Naseej is showcasing an ‘Experience Zone’ within its promotional stand located in Hall 9 at Exhibition World Bahrain.

The area has been set up to unveil the latest technologies which will be included in these Villas and also allowing potential homeowners with the opportunity to experience the concept of smart homes with the new Nasayim Villas.

The experience zone also has on display the latest technologies that are built into the homes as well as the EV charging stations.

Al Arrayed said: “We are pleased to sign this unique agreement with our new partner Bin Hindi Motors, the sole distributors of Korea’s Kia, which is a pioneer in the automotive field in the Gulf and the wider region. This partnership will certainly contribute to serving the development goals and our ambitious strategy in building sustainable communities in the kingdom, as well as being a market mover in making these smart-enabled villas available within the affordable housing sector.”

He added: “Our main objective is to serve the current and future needs of our customers. We have a clear vision to build the Nasayim Arad homes today that are future ready.

We believe in the importance of harnessing advanced technology in these homes and making them ready and provisioned for future enhancements like adding elevators, solar panels and electric charging stations within the homes. We aim to deliver these homes as smart villas that serve the homeowners for years to come, eliminating additional financial expenses and construction renovation to incorporate additional requirements that are needed to serve the requirements of the homeowner.”

Bin Hindi said: “We are delighted to sign the MoU with Naseej as one of the leading real estate developers in the kingdom, which proves day after day the excellence of their projects and their vision to develop sustainable communities in Bahrain.

With our joint collaboration, we will work on preparing these homes to include built-in charging stations for EV vehicles. We look forward to a successful partnership with Naseej in supporting them to deliver these unique features with its villas within the Nasayim project.”

Ahmed Bin Hindi said he was looking forward to receiving the new generation of electric vehicles in 2024 from Kia with the all new EV9 Kia line, which is good news for companies and individuals in providing the opportunity to purchase electric vehicles at an affordable price.

"We at Bin Hindi Motors look forward to receiving this new batch of vehicles soon, which we expect to be very popular. These vehicles will be unique in their energy-saving features and reduced emissions to the environment, and we want to meet customer requirements while observing sound environmental practices.”

Under the MoU, both teams will work closely to equip these homes with all cutting-edge technologies to make them sustainable, practical, and efficient.

Naseej and Bin Hindi Motors collaborated to create a pilot area at Naseej’s pavilion at Cityscape Bahrain to allow potential customers to experience the features of Nasayim Arad homes on the ground and give them a clear idea of how these smart homes deliver and operate for electric chargers in the home.

The developer will work with Bin Hindi Motors to prepare the villas for sale in 2024.
