NCC lands $102m contract to set up 400kV substation in Kuwait

KUWAIT CITY, June 23, 2024

Public Authority for Housing Welfare (PAHW), Kuwait has awarded a contract worth KD31.3 million ($102 million) to Saudi-based National Contracting Company for the construction of 400/132/11kV substations in South Sabah Al Ahmad residential Project.
 
The project scope includes design, supply, installation, testing and commissioning as well as maintenance of 400/132/11kV substations (namely 3Z) located in South Sabah Al Ahmad residential city.
 
A wholly-owned subsidiary of the Rezayat Group, NCC has over 50 years experience in providing engineering, procurement and construction services in the power, transmission and distribution and construction sectors.
