The Gulf Education and Training Exhibition (Getex), the Middle East’s longest running student recruitment event, is returning tomorrow (April 17) in Dubai featuring more than 220 national, regional, and international universities.

To be held until April 19 at the Dubai International Convention Centre, Getex Spring 2019 will provide learners of all ages a platform to meet and engage with student recruitment advisors, international education experts, and university officials under one roof. During the interaction, they will have a chance to get seek out advice as they consider their higher education, professional development, or training options.

“Every year, students who are actively seeking world-class study programs throng to Getex. The event provides them with access to a number of prestigious academic and vocational institutions and a chance to enrol into a programme of their choice,” said Anselm Godinho, managing director of International Conferences and Exhibitions and organizer of Getex.  

“On the other hand, participating education and training providers use Getex as a venue to meet their student admission targets and enrolment quotas. The event has also facilitated new education investment opportunities in the UAE market such as the setting up of branch campuses and university representative offices.  The event also serves as a place to learn more about the latest global education trends,” Godinho added.

For the first time, Getex Spring 2019 will introduce a K-12 segment to provide a recruitment platform for general education. If all goes well, this segment will be a permanent feature of Getex going forward, a statement said. – TradeArabia News Service
