Investcorp backs Injaz Bahrain’s finance career programme
MANAMA, 2 days ago
Investcorp, a leading global alternative investment firm, has announced that it has co-sponsored the Injaz Bahrain Finance Park Program, supporting financial literacy and career development for Bahrain’s next generation.
The programme provides an immersive, real-world experience where middle and high school students are challenged to manage household budgets, balance life scenarios, and navigate personal financial decisions.
Through the programme, each student is assigned a life scenario that includes factors like education level, family size, and income, allowing them to practically apply financial management principles.
It marks a historic milestone as the first of its kind to be launched internationally, positioning Bahrain as a pioneering force in financial literacy on both a national and regional scale.
By offering hands-on experiential learning, the programme bridges the gap between education and business communities, fostering skills in entrepreneurship, career readiness, and financial literacy.
Through the partnership, Investcorp and Injaz Bahrain will work together to build a financially empowered and career-ready youth.
The programme aims to engage students to recognise the value of education, equip students with essential career-readiness skills and foster innovative and entrepreneurial thinking.
Jordana Semaan, Investcorp’s Global Head of DEI, said: “We are pleased to be partnering with Injaz Bahrain to support Bahrain’s next generation.
“At Investcorp, we are committed to fostering growth and giving back to our local communities. All students should have the opportunity to learn and prepare before entering into a career, and the Injaz Bahrain programme offers students the tools they need to do so.”
Hana Sarwani, Injaz Bahrain Executive Director, said: “At Injaz Bahrain, we are deeply committed to empowering youth with the skills and knowledge necessary for success in their future careers.
“Our Finance Park Program equips students with essential financial literacy skills, and strategic partnerships with organisations like Investcorp allow us to expand our reach and amplify our impact, providing students with real-world experiences that will prepare them for the challenges of tomorrow.
“We are incredibly grateful to Investcorp for their generous support and commitment to shaping the future of Bahrain’s youth.” - TradeArabia News Service
