International experts to gather for BDLA7 in September

The seventh edition of the Bahrain Dermatology, Laser and Aesthetics Conference (BDLA7 2024), from September 5 to 7, will attract an elite group of dermatologists and plastic surgeons from both local and international levels.
Dr Hussain Juma, General Secretary of the Executive Committee of BDLA7 said the event will also feature prominent speakers, delegates, and specialists in dermatology and cosmetic medicine from various countries around the world.
"The conference plays a crucial role in establishing Bahrain as a leading regional hub in dermatology and cosmetology, serving as a platform for the exchange of expertise in dermatology and related medical specialties,” Dr Juma said.
Global developments
“We are focusing on global developments and challenges in diagnosing and treating various skin and immune diseases for both adults and children, as well as advancements in aesthetic medicine, laser treatments, and skin cancers. This conference is built on a clear vision and a strong foundation, aimed at fostering scientific and cultural exchange while showcasing the latest innovations and breakthroughs in this vital field."
Dr Juma said the vision for the seventh edition of the conference is to cultivate an environment where doctors and researchers can exchange advanced scientific knowledge. This will elevate the awareness of healthcare professionals in the field of skin disease prevention and enable the regional and international medical community to stay informed about the latest scientifically proven medical practices.
Additionally, it will provide insights into the most recent research in dermatology and cosmetology. He expressed confidence that this milestone event will significantly enhance the quality of healthcare provided to skin patients in Bahrain and the region.
Dr Wesam Al-Arraydah, Head of the Aesthetics Dermatology Scientific Committee, commented: "The conference agenda's unique richness and diversity will set a pioneering standard with its broad and multidisciplinary content. We will highlight the latest developments in treating skin diseases, from common to rare, as well as advancements in laser technologies, pharmaceutical innovations, and the ethics of aesthetic medicine.
