RAK FTZ in move to draw Filipino businesses
RAS AL KHAIMAH, June 14, 2015
Ras Al Khaimah Free Trade Zone (RAK FTZ) highlighted the benefits of setting up companies in the free zone to the Philippine Business Council at the recent Dubai Interface 2015 summit in Dubai, UAE.
The conference sought to create new investment relationships between the UAE and the Philippines.
The summit, which took place at Raffles Hotel in Dubai, brought Philippine government officials together with more than 200 top executives and entrepreneurs from the Filipino community and other nationalities within the UAE. It provided insight into the best leadership and business practices, and highlighted the advantages of establishing companies at RAK FTZ.
“RAK FTZ provides Filipino investors with access to high-quality infrastructure and business support services that are specifically designed to help them easily set up and expand a business without overstretching their finances,” said Tomas Csobonyei, business development director, RAK FTZ.
“We furnish our clients with first-class facilities that are tailored to meet their needs. From flexi desks, to executive offices, to warehouses and land for development, our clients can select from a wide variety of platforms that are best suited to help their businesses succeed.”
This was not the first time that RAK FTZ has reached out to Filipino investors. A high-level RAK FTZ delegation visited Manila in January to share the benefits of setting up companies in the free zone.
Currently, 20 Filipino companies benefit from the free zone’s investment-friendly environment. Among them are O.W.H International Trading FZC, a general trading company; Pro-C.E.S.S., a manufacturing business; and Tucay Roman Law FZE, a boutique law firm. – TradeArabia News Service
