Ingersoll Rand unveils centrifugal air compressor
DUBAI, October 14, 2015
Ingersoll Rand, a leader in compressed air and gas systems and services, has unveiled integrally geared centrifugal air/gas compressor Turbo-Air NX 8000.
The compressor can be configured for various applications across various industries and will help optimise operational efficiency, leading to considerable reduction in aggregate lifecycle costs, said a statement.
The updated compressor has a power rating of 750 kW-1,700 kW with air/gas flows from 142-283 cu m per minute and handling pressures from 3.5-14.5 barg, it said.
Cary Collins, engineered centrifugal compression leader of the Compressed Air and Gas Systems and Services business, said: “The Turbo-Air NX 8000 will help customers achieve the bottom line results that are at the forefront of every plant manager’s mind; to optimise flow and efficiency in a highly reliable and compact package.”
The compressor lubrication reservoir tank also functions as its sub-base, which can preserve lubrication fluid. Furthermore, its serves as an effective foundation for the compressor and its other sub-components, said the statement.
The standard package along with other available package options of the compressor in the market uniquely caters to various industries such as automotive, glass manufacturing, and textiles, it said.
The compressor can also be made to meet certain compliance standard as mandated by American Petroleum Institute (API) 614, 670, 671 and 672 standards.
Key market players and developers are bringing about innovative technological upgrades in manufacturing air/gas compressors that cater to numerous industrial applications and have excellent operational efficiency, said the statement.
There are many research studies in the market which track the market dynamics of global air compressors in terms of recent market developments and winning strategies adopted by key market players, it added. - TradeArabia News Service
