The Middle East remains one of the fastest growing services market for automobiles with the region’s annual light vehicle sales set to reach over 4 million by 2020, according to a recent study by Frost and Sullivan.

This, coupled with the fact that the region experiences harsh climate conditions, and is seeing an increased demand for convenience, has resulted in car wash companies anticipating steady growth in the run up to 2020, said the study.

The car wash industry in the region is also moving towards newer more efficient cleaning systems such as jet wash and waterless car wash solutions, and one stop shop solution models, it added.

Mohammed Al Samhour, director - business development and operations, of the Auto Millennium Group, said: “With extremely hot and dry weather here, specialised services like Llumar quality window tinting that can prevent interiors from heat (with a heat rejection by up to 95 per cent) are highly in demand.”

“Llumar Window tinting is very important as it not only protects your car’s interior from the destructive ultraviolet rays that can cause fading and deterioration, but also helps to protect you and your beloved ones as it reduces the risk of skin cancer,” he said.

The Gulf Car Wash – Car Care Conference, taking place as a part of Middle East Cleaning Technology Week (MECTW), is expected to delve into opportunities in the rapidly developing car wash and car care market in the region as well as feature the latest cutting-edge technologies and sustainable solutions available in the international car care market.

The event will take place from November 13 to 15, at the Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre.

MECTW is region’s largest event that brings together cleaning service providers, equipment, and chemicals suppliers to discuss trends and showcase green cleaning products and innovations.

The event will feature new pavilions dedicated to waste management, sewerage, and sanitation, and specialised cleaning for the year 2016.  

MECTW features three platforms such as Gulf Laundrex and Linen Care Expo, Gulf Car Wash and Car Care Expo as well as the Clean Middle East Pulire.
