Switzerland-based Sulzer will exhibit state-of-the-art mass transfer solutions for the process industry at AchemAsia 2019 - International Exhibition and Conference on Chemical Engineering and Biotechnology, to be held next month in China.

Sulzer's core strengths are flow control and applicators. It specialises in pumping solutions and services for rotating equipment, as well as separation, mixing and application technology.

The event will take place from May 21 to 23 in Shanghai.

The company will also be showing advanced augmented reality (AR) and virtual reality (VR) experiences that will allow visitors to have a closer look at the equipment as well as how it integrates into industrial plants, said a statement.

As the leader in separation and mixing technology, Sulzer Chemtech is well-aligned with the theme of this year’s event - sustainable chemical production in China.

To support this, the company will showcase real-world applications of its revolutionary separation technologies, for example for bioethanol production.

By using tablets with Sulzer Chemtech AR app, visitors will be able to interact with 3D models of facilities, where they will see how Sulzer’s equipment fits into large-scale processing plants as well as accessing relevant information on the products, in the form of text, videos and pictures.

A VR app will also allow visitors to explore Sulzer’s comprehensive range of column internals and static mixers, including the next-generation random packing NeXRing.

In addition, a VR headset will be available on stand to virtually walk through a number of process plants featuring Sulzer’s solutions.

Visitors to the stand will be guided through these experiences by industry experts from Sulzer Chemtech, who will also be available to discuss their key mass transfer solutions for process manufacturing, it stated. – TradeArabia News Service
