Canon supports Dubai Airshow as printing partner

Canon Emirates, a leader in imaging and printing solutions, is supporting the Dubai Airshow as its official printing partner, being held in Dubai, UAE.
The Dubai Airshow is one of the world’s leading aviation events, set to attract 1,300 exhibitors and thousands of visitors this year, showcasing the latest industry trends and the technology supporting its development.
Canon’s stand will provide printing facilities for exhibitors and visitors at its business centre. Additionally, Canon will showcase Smart Cargo Solution, Compliance Checker, a digital online tool that speeds up cargo movement and flow by detecting data errors in air waybills, said a statement.
The system automatically inspects the content and format of a shipment’s data, it said.
The solution is relevant to a broad range of customers in the logistics and transportation sector, including airlines, freight handlers, cargo system providers, airports and port hubs, supporting them in speeding up cargo movement and flow by preventing delays caused by sending non-compliant cargo to customs.

Data gathered by Canon Product team has shown that digital transformation is second only to business growth in terms of the key concerns of CEO’s. Additionally, 86 per cent of decision makers say that they have a two-year window in which to make significant progress in their digital transformation journey before they start to suffer financially.
