Bahrain signs strategic deals to boost Brunei ties

The Kingdom of Bahrain and the Sultanate of Brunei Darussalam have signed key agreements to consolidate their strong relations on the sidelines of the official visit of Sultan Hassanal Bolkiah of Brunei.
These wide-ranging deals aim to bolster ties in finance and investment, education, foreign affairs, women’s empowerment, cultural co-operation and cloud computing.
They were signed in the presence of His Majesty King Hamad and Sultan Hassanal Bolkiah of Brunei, who held official talks at Gudaibiya Palace yesterday (June 10), reported BNA.
His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, and Prince Abdul Mateen of Brunei were also present.
Education Minister, High Education Council Board of Trustees’ Chairman, Dr Mohammed bin Mubarak Juma’a signed a MoU with Brunei Minister of Education Dr Hajah Romaizah binti Haji Md Salleh at a key ceremony held at Gudaibiya Palace, in the presence of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and HM Sultan Hassanal Bolkiah of Brunei of Brunei.
“The deal aims to facilitate the exchange of educational information, curricula, training programs, research, digital systems, evaluation methods, and educational technology, in addition to exchanging visits, experiences, and participation in conferences, seminars, and educational events, " said Dr. Juma.
