Delivering excellence
Mansoor Janahi, Managing Director and Group CEO of Sanad, said: "Receiving the Supplier Excellence Award from Rolls-Royce is a proof to Sanad's unwavering commitment to delivering excellence in aerospace engineering and leasing solutions. This recognition not only reinforces our dedication to continuous improvement but also reflects the relentless dedication and exceptional talent of our Sanad team members, who are the driving force behind our enduring success in the aerospace industry.”
Sanad's unique position as the only independent Rolls-Royce approved Trent 700 Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul (MRO) centre worldwide has been instrumental in their success.
Among the exclusive global roster of just four Rolls-Royce Authorised MRO Centres, Sanad uniquely offers comprehensive overhaul and testing. Since establishing a strategic relationship with Rolls-Royce in 2013, Sanad has increased the number of Trent 700 engine inductions by an impressive 42% year-on-year.
Ambitious goals
Over the past five years, it has inducted 150 engines, reflecting its remarkable performance. Looking forward, Sanad has ambitious goals, aiming to induce more than 350 engines by 2028. Sanad's long-term contract with Rolls-Royce extends until 2031, a testament to the trust placed in them by globally renowned OEMs.
Sanad's relationship with Rolls-Royce has expanded beyond the borders of the UAE, with the Emirati company now serving as a major supplier of Trent 700 services to airlines worldwide. This achievement builds upon the substantial $6.5 billion transaction signed in 2019, further strengthening Sanad's role as a strategic supplier to Rolls-Royce.--TradeArabia News Service
