Saab, a leading defence and security company, is displaying a range of advanced systems that provide operational advantage by giving users the capabilities to be better prepared in an uncertain world at the Dubai Airshow. 

 

Saab’s exhibits at the show, from November 13 to 17, will include GlobalEye as the world’s most advanced AEW&C solution that operates as strategic national asset in peace, crisis and conflict, with ground-breaking capabilities that can provide simultaneous air, maritime and ground surveillance in one single solution.

 

Saab’s DeployNet is a rapidly deployable and scalable 5G/LTE wireless network delivering speedy, reliable and secure voice and data communication. Designed and produced in the UAE, DeployNet was brought to market through co-operation with the UAE’s Tawazun Council.

 

Giraffe radars

The next exhibit is world-famous Giraffe multifunctional, multi-mission radars that create the time to act, with simultaneous capabilities including air surveillance, ground-based air defence, drone detection and sense and warn. 

 

Saab’s T-7 is the most modern advanced pilot trainer jet for the next generation of combat pilots.

 

Saab Integrated Digital Tower Suite for civil and military use and r-TWR Deployable; a deployable digital tower that provides high availability, mission-to-mission modularity and flexibility.

 

Self-protection

Self-protection countermeasure systems to detect hostile weapon systems and incoming threats thereby allowing evasive measures to deny the opponent.
