Alba to focus on four key areas this year, CEO says at majlis

“No rearview mirrors in Alba’s journey, we only look forward”: This was the message of Aluminium Bahrain (Alba) Chief Executive Officer Ali Al Baqali as he inaugurated the company’s annual Majlis 2024 sessions on Monday (January 8) at the Oasis Hall.
Alba’s executives, directors, and managers attended the opening session, where the CEO presented an overview of the company’s performance for 2023 to include operational milestones as well as achievements in safety and ESG.
The CEO also unveiled Alba’s objectives for 2024: Safety Mirror, Strategy Refresh, e-Al Hassalah, and Upskilling & Reskilling, which will provide guidance and direction for everyone to be aligned with the company’s plans for the year ahead.
Al Baqali, said: “We are zooming into a year of transformation with our 2024 objectives. We will face our safety mirror head-on; our strategy will get a makeover fuelled by the power of upskilling and reskilling of our human capital as well as embracing digital technologies to unlock further efficiencies with e-Al Hassalah.
“I also take the opportunity to express my thanks to each and every one of our employees for their resilience and support throughout 2023,” he said.
The annual Majlis sessions will continue until January 13 in a hybrid format for easy accessibility by Alba’s employees and contractors’ personnel working across various shifts.
The Majlis sessions have been held annually since 2020 as they provide an opportunity for constructive two-way communication between the management and employees while charting the course towards new horizons in Alba’s journey, the company said. – TradeArabia News Service
