India’s Ion Exchange seals Maaden water plant contract

Ion Exchange (India), a leader in water and environment management solutions, said it has secured a contract worth Rs120 crore ($14.5 million) from Saudi mining company Maaden for setting up of a water treatment plant in the kingdom.
The project, which also covers the construction of a demineralisation plant, will be completed within a 12-month period, said the company in a statement.
Headquartered in Mumbai, the Ion Exchange is a pioneer of water treatment in India with a strong international presence.
The company, which boasts a legacy spanning over 60 years, offers total water and environment management solutions, with sales, production and service footprints across the world, it added.-TradeArabia News Service
