Ritchie Bros. set for summer auction; 1,100 items up for grabs

Global asset management and disposition company Ritchie Bros. is gearing up for its highly anticipated summer auction which kicks off on June 4.
The two-day event promises a vast and diverse selection of over 1,100 used and unused heavy equipment items, all sold to the highest bidder at unreserved prices.
Bidding for the auction begins tomorrow (May 29), which also marks the start date for personal inspections, said Ritchie Bros in a statement.
Registered bidders will be able to enter the Jebel Ali Free Zone through gates 7 and 8 without needing a gate pass. For those unable to visit Ritchie Bros.’ yard in person, the website offers comprehensive reports, videos, and detailed photos for each lot to help customers make informed decisions.
Once bidding opens, users of Ritchie Bros.'s online auction platform will be able to register their interest in items, make an offer and create a watchlist so they can track bids and activity on their selected items, ensuring they don’t miss the opportunity to place a more competitive bid, said the statement.

The auction also features a significant number of Komatsu HD787-7 rock trucks and a vast array of excavators, with over 100 mini, midi, and hydraulic excavators from premium brands like Cat and Komatsu, said Ritchie Bros in a statement.
Additionally, the upcoming auction features a massive variety of forklifts; there are over 100 items available in this auction ranging in brands, types and tonnage.
Forklifts on offer:
•33 Yale forklifts (1.8-ton – 5-ton, mostly UNUSED)
•31 Hyster forklifts (1.8-ton – 7-ton, mostly UNUSED)
•23 Doosan forklifts (1.5-ton – 5-ton, mostly UNUSED)
•15 Maximal forklifts (3-ton – 5-ton, all UNUSED)
•14 CAT pneumatic tyre forklifts (4.5-ton – 15-ton)
Shirin Bazargan, Regional Operations Manager at Ritchie Bros., said the auction will also feature many unused and low hour items.
"Bidders will have access to high-quality used equipment as well as pristine, unused items at unreserved prices. This auction is a fantastic opportunity for fleet managers and operators to secure a bargain," noted Bazargan.
"Among the unused items are a variety of excavators, motor graders, backhoe and wheel loaders, trailers, gen-sets, and a great variety of forklifts," she added.
