25 national firms under 'Saudi Made' pavilion in Anuga India

The Saudi Export Development Authority (Saudi Exports), under the "Saudi Made" identity, is participating in the Anuga India 2024 exhibition, being held in Mumbai from August 28 to 30.
 
The Saudi pavilion features 25 leading national companies in the food products sector, reflecting Saudi Exports' commitment to enhancing the presence of Saudi products and expanding their reach to global markets. 
 
Government entities such as the Saudi Export-Import Bank and the Small and Medium Enterprises General Authority (Monshaat) are also participating, a Saudi Press Agency (SPA) report said.
 
National goods and services
This participation aligns with the strategy of Saudi Exports, which aims to promote national goods and services and increase their share in global markets. This is in line with the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030, which seeks to diversify income sources and boost non-oil exports.
 
The exhibition is one of the largest specialised events in the food products sector and features several promotional events and accompanying activities. Thousands of visitors from around the world are expected to attend.
 
Spokesperson for the Saudi Export Development Authority Thamer Al-Mishrafi said that participation in the exhibition offers exceptional opportunities for national companies. The Saudi Made pavilion includes 25 distinguished national companies looking to sign trade, investment, and export agreements and memoranda of understanding, contributing to the growth of their exports and enhancing their access to global markets.
 
Promotional events
He emphasised that this edition of the exhibition will host senior business leaders and officials from government and private sectors, providing an opportunity to exchange expertise, conduct meetings, and secure deals that will ensure the Saudi Made brand reaches a large audience, boosting its competitiveness in Indian, Asian, and global markets. Additionally, the Saudi participation includes several promotional events and accompanying activities aimed at creating a unique experience for pavilion visitors, introducing them to Saudi culture and high-quality national products.
 
The value of Saudi non-oil exports to India in 2023 exceeded SR23 billion ($6.13 billion), reflecting the strength and competitiveness of Saudi products in Indian markets. 
 
Participation in the exhibition reaffirms the kingdom's commitment to boosting trade and economic exchange with India.
