Reactive Downhole Tools (Reactive) has announced receipt of API Q1 Certification – a first for the well completion solution provider.  

 

A testament to the high-quality standards the globally established provider is known for, the API Q1 Certification was delivered to Reactive’s Abu Dhabi facility. The certification is a result of Reactive's commitment to developing and manufacturing proven quality tools and technologies for the oil and natural gas industry.

 

Issued exclusively by the American Petroleum Institute, API Q1 Certification eligibility dictates that companies are required to submit their quality manual for approval and host an API official delegate for an on-site audit. Reactive’s UAE facility secured the specialised certification in an impressive 18-month timespan.

 

Impressive portfolio

Manufacturing high-performance swellable packers and bespoke open and cased hole completion systems, Reactive has built an impressive portfolio of supporting international operators throughout their entire wellbore requirements since its inception in 2012. This certification and the recognition it provide will support plans for growth within the Middle East – one of several key regions Reactive is targeting for trajectory.
