Asiacell offers toll-free service for firms

Asiacell, the first and largest private Iraqi telecom company, has launched its toll-free service, allowing its Iraq-based corporate subscribers to offer toll-free calls to their customers.
Corporate subscribers will be charged for all toll-free calls made by their customers, it said in a statement.
Corporate subscribers can apply the toll-free service to postpaid lines for an IQD120,000 ($102.60) activation fee, an IQD60,000 monthly fee and an IQD180,000 deposit. To subscribe to the service, customers can visit any Asiacell showroom or contact the Company’s sales department.
“The Toll-Free Service is a cutting-edge, value-added service and a popular marketing tool leveraged by companies worldwide,” said Dr Diar Ahmed, CEO of Asiacell.
“By offering the toll-free service to our corporate subscribers, we hope to help them enhance their customer service efficiency and improve their communications. Ultimately, the service will enable corporate subscribers to develop their business operations and promote their products and services in the Iraqi market,” he added.
Asiacell will be offering its subscribers this service for a minimum six-month subscription period and will give them the choice of specifying the type of services applied to the toll-free number, including opting for incoming calls only, or both incoming and outgoing calls, and SMS services. – TradeArabia News Service
