Saudi Telecommunications Company (STC) will unveil 10 innovative digital platform projects created by Saudi young men and women during its participation in Gitex Technology Week opening today (October 6) in Dubai, UAE.

The top 10 entrepreneurship projects this year will be unveiled in the exhibition. These projects have won STC support through its InspireU incubator in the field of digital payments, technology, economics, education, health and sports, including Solfa project, which is an electronic platform for lending small amounts up to five thousand Saudi Riyals within just 15 minutes.  

Mohammad bin Rashid Abalkhail, STC’s director general of Corporate Communications, said that this year’s exhibition showcases future digital services and solutions that enrich the lives of individuals and institutions.

He noted that STC is not just a telecommunications company but a digital enabler and key player in the digital transformation in the Kingdom according to its Vision 2030. He stated that STC, through Saudi entrepreneurs and women entrepreneurs, will tell innovative success stories achieved through the support, training and relationship building provided to them by STC through InspireU incubator.

Abalkhail indicated that STC participation will also feature signing several agreements with major international companies. Through its strategy, STC is primarily focused on the growth of services, platforms and digital infrastructure, taking into account realizing a greater value than its current assets of its employees, brand, customer base, technical assets and business partners to ensure that sufficient resources are available to invest in future opportunities. – TradeArabia News Service
