Tools & Solutions joins Digital Cooperation Organisation

RIYADH, May 19, 2022

The Digital Cooperation Organisation (DCO), an intergovernmental organisation established to enable digital prosperity for all, has announced Saudi Arabia’s Tools & Solutions as its latest observer organisation.

DCO, which focuses on digital economy initiatives supporting youth, startup entrepreneurs and women, has nine member state countries with a combined population of over half a billion.

Tools & Solutions is a provider of comprehensive business solutions tailored to support entrepreneurs in realising their creative potential. It assists entrepreneurs and incubates their businesses so they can focus on innovation. A pioneer in supporting youth in Saudi Arabia, their Academy has worked with over ten thousand graduates in just two years.

Rapidly scaling up
Commenting on the latest announcement, DCO Secretary-General Deemah AlYahya welcomed Tools & Solutions: “The Digital Cooperation Organisation is rapidly scaling our global private sector activity to equip youth and entrepreneurs with the skills to prosper in the digital economy. I’m delighted to welcome Tools & Solutions to the DCO as an observer and a like-minded organisation focused on digital empowerment. I look forward to working with them to share their creative innovation expertise across the DCO member states.”

Echoing this sentiment, Abdullah Alshammari, CEO of Tools and Solutions, commented: “Along with DCO, we pledge to encourage innovation, support entrepreneurs, and empower women. We know that that the role of the young generation in driving digital transformation is vital – and so, we are proud to have designed our educational programmes and training paths to enable the youth to lead the digital transformation. We look forward to working with other partners in the DCO ecosystem and across the DCO member states as we enable digital prosperity for all.”

Quickly expanding
DCO is quickly expanding its collaborative work with the global private sector in its mission to enable digital prosperity for all. The Estonia-based digital transformation company Nortal, Jordan’s Information and Communications Technology Association (int@j), and startup accelerator Oasis500 are other private sector digital innovators that have recently joined the wider DCO network, while Uruguay’s CERES and Jordan’s Al Hussein Technical University form the DCO’s first Academic partners.

The extended DCO observer ecosystem also includes the EQUALS partnership of more than 100 organisations supporting gender digital equality around the world.-- TradeArabia News Service
