Dutch IT consultancy Xebia names global CEO

Xebia, a global full stack software engineering, IT strategy and digital consulting company, has promoted its current CEO, Anand Sahay to the global position to take the company beyond the Netherlands and co-founded Xebia Global Services.
An industry veteran, Sahay had joined the Dutch IT consultancy in 2014. In this new role as Global CEO, he is responsible for extending Xebia’s business into the Middle East and Africa, the US, UK, APAC and ANZ regions, said a statement from Xebia.
Sahay, an electronics engineer, began his career as a software programmer at TCS. He later completed his MBA and undertook various leadership role before taking his position in Xebia.
Under his stewardship, Xebia developed software engineering prowess to cater to the growing demands of global customers for quality software technology, said the company in its statement.
Building on the architecture, engineering and software craftsmanship learned over the years in the Netherlands, he has brought a unique and refreshing blend of quality and scale.
Sahay has made Xebia distinctive in the world and helped it stand out from the other software firms globally, it added.
On his new role, Sahay said: "It is an honour to be promoted to Global CEO. Xebia, he stated, has over 5,000 employees worldwide, including over 3,000 people across five centres in India.
