Export Bahrain can be found representing Bahrain at Gitex 2022, which is currently taking place at the Dubai World Trade Centre. It is based at the Bahrain National Pavilion, which is showcasing some of the Kingdom’s IT innovations.

 

The organisation’s attendance is in accordance with Export Bahrain’s desire to showcase their services and solutions at the global technology event.

 

For the second year in a row, Export Bahrain is exploring global IT and technological developments.

 

According to the company, by keeping abreast of these developments, it can evolve the export solutions it provides to the business sector and explore innovations within technical fields such as e-commerce, artificial intelligence, cloud computing, applications, systems and many others.

 

Rabab Khalaf, Planning and Market Intelligence, Export Bahrain, said: “That their attendance at the Bahrain Pavilion at GITEX is in line with the vision to provide new solutions that contribute to the Kingdom’s economy.”

 

“These include strategies for increasing exports thereby encouraging growth within the consumer and services industries and plans to raise the competitive quality of Bahraini products and services – to increase their chances of accessing regional and global markets. This is in addition to creating new opportunities for companies based in the Kingdom of Bahrain, being open to global export opportunities and developing unique opportunities for both consumers and corporations,” Khalaf added.

 

Khalaf concluded, “That she is working to implement the export solutions drawn up by Export Bahrain. These solutions concern export credit insurance, export shipping and logistics, international retail sales initiative, export consultancy, international trading, international tenders, export facilitation services and export market research. Export Bahrain will also be developing many other ideas with the aim of enabling exporters to benefit from improved export opportunities for various target markets.”

 

The Bahraini delegation’s participation at GITEX is sponsored by the Tamkeen Labor Fund.

 

Thirty Bahraini startups and SMEs who specialise in IT and tech are in attendance as well as the Information and eGovernment Authority, the Bahrain Economic Development Board, Bahrain Development Bank and the Hope Fund.

 

This participation of Bahrani businesses and agencies has been organised by the Bahrain Technology Companies Association (BTECH) for the sixteenth consecutive year. -TradeArabia News Service
