MANAMA, October 6, 2023
The inaugural Comex Bahrain 2023, a technology exhibition, will be held in parallel with the Bahrain International eGovernment Forum 2023 from October 9-11, 2023 at Exhibition World Bahrain. It will bring together companies, decision-makers, policymakers, and investors.
The two high profile events reflect the kingdom’s prestigious regional and global reputation as an exhibitions' destination, and its ability to attract investments and leading international companies in this sector, said a statement.
Information & eGovernment Authority (iGA) Chief Executive, Mohammed Ali Al Qaed welcomed OITE Exhibitions, organiser of Comex Bahrain, which is attracting major exhibitors looking to showcase their technology products and artificial intelligence (AI) projects.
He acknowledged the role of such exhibitions in enhancing the kingdom's status as an attractive destination for events and conferences in the region.
OITE CEO, Amr Baabood said: “We are delighted to organise Comex Bahrain for the first time in the Kingdom of Bahrain at Exhibition World Bahrain. An excellent opportunity for local and international organisations to showcase their technological solutions and initiatives, this exhibition will highlight the fast-paced and wide-ranging developments of this vital sector, in which countries are actively pursuing digital transformation and embracing advanced technologies.
“Bahrain’s selection as host of this event is a testament to its advanced position in the field. We also take pride in having the exhibition held under the patronage of Gen Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, the Minister of Interior and Chairman of the Ministerial Committee for Information Communication and Technology (MCICT). We sincerely thank the iGA for their support and collaboration in organizing this exhibition, and look forward to engaging with relevant entities, participants, and visitors at this milestone event."
This year’s Comex Bahrain will attract for the first time a wide range of specialised digital technology pavilions, including government entities in the kingdom, to showcase their technological solutions to enhance operations and systems, improving the quality of services offered to citizens and residents.
The exhibition will also attract a selection of international technology companies, showcasing the latest innovative technological solutions. Additionally, there will be a dedicated pavilion to review the latest technologies used in the banking sector, such as FinTech. – TradeArabia News Service
