A key partnership has rolled out a new coding programme that aims to nurture the next generation of digital innovators by equipping students from 15 high schools and seven universities with skills to thrive in the global tech industry.

Bank of Bahrain and Kuwait (BBK), the leading retail and commercial bank in Bahrain, and Injaz Bahrain, a member of Junior Achievement (JA) Worldwide, the world’s largest non-profit business education organisation, have joined forces to launch the Codetech Program that promises to revolutionise coding education in Bahrain.

At the heart of the programme is Au, a programming language engineered to simplify the coding learning curve for novices.

This browser-based platform sidesteps the complexities of traditional software installations, ensuring universal accessibility.

 Moreover, Au's flexibility in generating code compatible with over 15 legacy languages means students will gain not just coding proficiency but a deep-rooted understanding of software development fundamentals.

Sheikha Hessa bint Khalifa Al Khalifa, Injaz Bahrain Chairperson, said: “By launching the Codetech Program, we are not just teaching coding; we are unlocking a world of possibilities for our youth.
