Bottega Veneta, one of the well-known Italian luxury goods and high fashion brand house best known for its leather goods, will celebrate its iconic bags at a special event in Dubai next week.

 

The ICONS in Dubai, an exceptional display of the Cabat and the Knot, will be held at its flagship boutique at The Dubai Mall from June 1 to 3.

 

Both archival and recent pieces will be on display at the show.

 

A style steeped in the traditions of artisanal mastery, the Cabat was the very first bag designed by Creative Director Tomas Maier in 2001.

 

The Knot is another one of the brand’s most beloved handbags. The creative director then introduced a new closure in the shape of a small intrecciato leather knot and gave the bag its name. 

 

Over the years, countless versions of the Cabat and the Knot have been featured in the Bottega Veneta collections, crafted in a number of different workmanship and materials. Both bags represent a link to the brand’s history and to its future, having become an iconic symbol of its unique philosophy.
