Dubai is set to take the global centre stage in November with the launch of Vie Fashion Week (VFW) in its new form as a multi-faceted fashion event bringing together renowned local and international designers in the fashion industry.

 

VFW will be running from November 17 to 20, 2021 at Dubai World Trade Centre (Sheikh Saeed Halls) and will aim to position the emirate as the destination for top fashion and glamour, joining the ranks of the world’s acknowledged fashion capitals.

 

“The event will serve as an international platform bringing together top fashion talent and business leaders, innovators as well as trends to establish Dubai’s position as a global fashion destination,” said Akhil and Aiswarya, founders of A Square London. 

 

A Square London is a fashion house committed to supporting emerging and upcoming talents to establish themselves into the mainstream. After the successful edition held in July 2021, Akhil is excited to see the growth of this event through a wider international participation and investment into the city of Dubai. 

 

This edition will be jointly staged in cooperation with Plan B, a leading event management company in Dubai; as well as DXB Live, the experiential agency of Dubai World Trade Centre.

 

Unique for its robust programme, Vie Fashion Week will feature captivating runway shows, engaging summit panels, a buzzing exhibition show floor and a series of networking events, as well as a gala dinner and awards ceremony that will recognise creativity, innovation and excellence in the fashion industry in the Middle East. 

 

“This will be the first event in the region to host a fashion exhibition that combines exceptional runway shows as well as insightful conference workshops all together in one platform. Among the confirmed participants, is the youngest emirati Fashion Designer, Roudha Jamal Mahyo who will be showcasing her collection for the very first time.

 

In addition, Dubai can look forward to meeting international celebrities and fashion icons to experience the best in fashion at another Vie Fashion Week scheduled to take place this year. 

 

Vie Fashion Week Dubai will also feature “WalktheCause”, a benefit show which put the spotlight on the kids of Special Needs Future Development Centre as they walk the ramp along with leading personalities from Dubai in an effort to raise awareness and mobilise support for special needs children.-- TradeArabia News Service
